Investor concern could lead to US market correction

The Australian sharemarket may be set for gains this week following a 1.1% dip last week, though goldminers' strong performance may not be repeated. US job results on Friday were very poor, increasing likelihood of rate cuts, but for the first time we may be seeing investors rethink the sustainability of current market levels in a weakening economy.
